Social Media and Event Marketing
Social media marketing can be integrated into other forms of marketing, such as event marketing. Marketing and promoting the event through social media can generate more attendance, while people at the event can then connect with a company during or after the event via social media.

By creating posts leading up to the event on different social media platforms, the company will create a buzz, making their audience want to participate and attend the event. The more people interact with these posts, the larger audience exposed to the event.

During the event, attendees can document their experience to the company's social media pages. Whether this be with a contest, photo booth or other activity, it will entice people to post about the event and company. The company itself can also document their event experience with videos and pictures of the event and its participants.

With all of the event attendees interacting before and during the event, there is likely to be some continued interested in the company after the event is over. This interest can be expanded on by writing about the company's event experience and sharing it on social media platforms.

If connections were made through networking, make sure to follow up with them through Facebook, LinkedIn, or email and be sure to thank the audience for their participation.
